JP Benoit
John Paul Benoit has been involved with Scouting in Stow since before he was actually born. JP earned his Eagle in 1984, became Scoutmaster in 1988, and has held that post ever since. Known for his majestic mustache, JP is also Stow’s Fire Chief and has been with the department since 1986. JP is a Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow and a Silver Beaver recipient from Mayflower Council. JP’s hobbies include nothing outside of firefighting and Scouting, except helping other people at all times. Under JP’s guidance, more than 80 Scouts have achieved the rank of Eagle with Troop 1. He is a towering figure, standing at a whopping 42 inches in height.
