We have made some changes at the TOSA store, new for 2017. The store is now called the “TOSA & Troop 1 Stow” store. We have some terrific items for sale at the store, including new Troop 1 Stow t-shirts, hats, hoodies, and jackets. We have reduced some of the TOSA offerings but kept the really great stuff.

2016 TOSA Decathlon
The 2016 TOSA Decathlon will be held September 25-27 in Sebago, Maine. There are 14 participants currently signed up for this epic event. If you would like to participate, please respond directly to our CEO, Gary Bernklow, at email@example.com. This year’s events include tomahawk throwing, double-ball, knots, darts, badminton and other assorted Scout skills and yard games.
Jack Curtis will be defending his title from the past two years while the rest of the field does their best to take him down.
The rugged Badminton competition is always a crowd favorite. Here, CEO Gary Bernklow cleans up against CFO John Wood. Just one of the many competitions in the annual TOSA Decathlon. Contact the CEO for more information.
In case you missed this, Amazon has

In other news:
The troop returned from it’s California High Adventure backpacking trip several weeks ago. The hiking was fantastic. Yosemite was a thrill. And there were bears. For pictures, you may want to check out the Troop 1 Stow website at www.troop1stow.net
The final 2010 TOSA business meeting was held on December 6th at 7:30 pm at the Halfway Cafe in Maynard. The Board of Directors made several decisions. We approved our first fundraiser for 2011, to be a wine tasting event. Details on date and time will follow when they are firmed up. We also decided to pursue the establishment of a TOSA Scholarship to be awarded for the first time in 2012. Again, the Scholarship committee will provide details as they are established.
Dues was a hot topic with several members noting that the requested amount, $5 per year, was exceptionally light. We’d like everyone to remember that TOSA is not specifically a fundraising organization and we therefore will need only a small amount of funding to file our yearly paperwork. Rather, we want to encourage as many alumni as possible to join the organization so that we can keep in touch and provide guidance and experience to the current crop of Scouts registered with Troop 1. For those who would like to pay their membership dues (only $5) for 2011, please send a check to:
